Blame It On The Sun by Electrifying Audiences The way to get rich is not to come up with a new way to satisfy the way to get rich is to come up with a brand new itch that makes them scratch till stitches And here you are surprising me with your resiliency Cave in The way to find love is to leave out a basket with treats and poems Now that you have rejected me It's not like it was some kind of offering To put on the chopping block of apathy, disdain, curled lips, evil eye, misery The way to feel young is not to drink the blood of some vivacious victim The way to feel young is to spread your wings and fly into the sun So landed with a thud Don't blame it on me or anyone Just blame it on the sun

One Stop Motion by Electrifying Audiences One stop motion is the way for me It's what keeps me going when everything gets weird One leg jerk is how I move when I'm feeling closed in like a rat in a cupboard A quick eye movement sees the things that I know are coming I'm ready to spring Watch my hand dangle down Don't let it distract you while the other one comes around One stop motion is the way for me makes me feel alright when I'm trying to sleep at night Not just any night, those horrible late nights Voices, images, danger in your head OK, time to go back to bed One stop motion Two for the living dead That's what I said One stop shop for those lacking parts to make themselves feel ahead I'll take a head One stop motion Look at me dancing like a scarecrow Have I scared anyone? You? No, I didn't think so One stop to get the things you need Second stop to use them as your please

Sat there intentionally as if meant to be To pitch your take here Lay stake to water cooler romantic Elevator gate keeper clean Keep’er clean These shoes roam this carpet Mirrored walls I into dissolve I into you dissolve I am person working Walking down said hall I into you When you pass by I dissolve Into you I dissolving into you If only you would slow down If not meet my eyes see my face I know it blank but blank is good Have to go on working Even though I’m into you Dissolve

In Circles 03:10
In Circles by Electrifying Audiences Here lies the spot they say the children love to run around It’s a great place to bring the dead And then the sky cracks How many wishes does the dreamer have left In that case better wish for the best And then the sky cracks And the children keep running in circles The games they play around these parts are rather thrilling Can make a killing betting on the red I’m betting on red Everything’s gone to ground Around in circles

To Both Of Us (Wasn’t Supposed To Happen) by Electrifying Audiences It happened to both of us Wasn’t supposed to happen to both of us It happened to both of us and I’m sorry Spent many years formulating every step every contingency every point from A to B to Z and here we are I was happy for both of us We were both supposed to be happy for both of us But a highly unlikely improbable situation took place And when I dwell on it too long I go crazy I go mad Very mad at myself For dragging you in Oh happy days will come again Happy days come again If we just keep our spirits high It happened to both of us How the hell did it happen to both of us It happened to both of us and god I’m sorry I spend every day racking my brain trying to make this nightmare go away I’m not crazy I’m not mad I’m just sad for dragging you in It happened to both of us Wasn’t supposed to happen to both of us

Don’t Let The Dot by Electrifying Audiences Respect the dot To the rest of the Indo soothsayers Don’t test the lever to the reality tone generator If it asks you if you want to resurrect Please answer, Soothsayer sees us direct They want to believe her They want to believe in the lever You know I love the glow and the breaks The way razor blade snakes around your throat, around your clothes down your shoes I love the way the razor blade makes you cute One of the razor blade kids They hound downtown Just one of the kids Just want to live In the range of the real Under the dot

Now There’s An Obelisk by Electrifying Audiences There’s a rock that marks the place where poor decision making took place A braille signpost reminds the blind of forgiveness Now there’s an obelisk It’s a sign There’s a stick stuck in the ground that marks the spot where we turned round To get off we had to choose a spot, take a turn, a risky twist, a veer, a fear of misplaced steps in the rush to make hasty decisions as is our way In the shadow of the obelisk One of us

Wake Them Up (With Rock And Roll) by Electrifying Audiences Play ball on the wall keep your parents up at night Make some noise, annoy them, keep them up because they’re already dead now Don’t let them sleep too late They’ll be foggy headed when they wake Don’t let them sleep too late Make noise Wake them up Wake up your friends Wake up anyone whose already dead Wake them up with rock and roll Play the tape backwards that will wake your parents for sure Play ball against the wall wake up Play loud games to raise the dead Kick stab punch shout Crank that stereo up everyone Come on over, come on in, let’s dance, party They’re already dead

Choose The End by Electrifying Audiences Ring the bell more slowly Ring the bell just one more time Ring the bell more gently Ring the bell so I can begin Choose the end it’s the new thing Choose the end and we’ll say au revoir Choose the end and we’ll linger and tingle and sprinkle love In the moonlit dancing So pretty Whenever you encounter something so pretty it makes you feel physically sick well this is it Oh god I see it like it’s inside me vibrating out coming back in letting me look it and start again on the inside vibrating out lets me look at it lets me shout Come back Come back inside If ever you encounter something ineffable makes you feel mentally ill Well maybe this is it Whenever you encounter something so gentle makes you feel physically ill Well this isn’t it

about

Though I was not in search of one, an Eno-esque "oblique strategy card" was handed to me via a text message - "Do you know anyone who would like this? Free." Attached was a photo of a Yamaha PSR-185 keyboard. I am no gear snob, but practically speaking, I recognized it as a consumer-level 'toy' instrument. I had someone in mind (who could put it to unexpected outcomes) to pass it onto, but once in my possession, the demons of creative potential spoke to me and I knew I had to make at least some noise with it. As we are now aware, time is not linear and the past, present and future are always at play at once. In that spirit, I turned it on, plugged it into my DAW and disappeared for a few months into its loving embrace. One song became two, three and finally nine (or more?!). When my previous life began begging for some consideration, I made myself draw the line and escape from the 'toy's' potent seduction.

I thank and salute the forces of hard determinism (in this case, in the form of a friend named Rick) for shoving me down this path by way of an unexpected creative object being placed in front of me, much like a rope puzzle handed to an orangutan, that, once solved, allows the ape/human to reach some delicacy, some pregnant experience where times come together and birth minor ecstasies. My early 80s casio-limited past self woke from a slumber like a sleeping cat with tuna waved under its nose and the pseudo-modernity of the 'plinky plink' instruments, as we used to call them, beckoned him come robot dance. My present and future selves fawned over him, like a ruddy-faced boy, half eager and half naive and all aflutter. We endeavored to adorn him with pearls and visions born of new horizons, like trying to bring doe-eyed Jesus up to speed when he reappears after being off somewhere for 2000 years. The important thing being, it all ended in a long, lovely sonic hug, where we promised to stay in touch and vibrate in the same frequency for a spell sometime in the evermore.
Hopefully, the three of us have produced something that might entertain one or two of you.
